Frontporch has several ministry teams, so choose one that fits your gifts and talents, or try something new! When you serve with others in the community, you’ll make friends and grow in Christ at the same time. To join a team just contact the leader, or get in touch with our pastor Jonathan Wiley.

MINISTRY TEAMS

Connections Team
We want the Frontporch to be full of smiles and friendly faces, a place where you want to be. This will happen increasingly as each of us seek to know and value each other. Our Connections team works to rally all members of our community to a culture of infectious love and care for newcomers and not-so-newcomers. We need a vast army of individuals serving in hospitality, greeting, set-up/tear-down, atmosphere, after-hours, follow-up, newcomer connections, etc. Come one, come all! Team Leader: Brie Modlin

Kids at the Porch Team
If you love kids and desire to be used by God to shape the next generation, then our kids need you. Exciting and interactive teaching is provided for children ages 0 – 10 during our Sunday worship gathering. We need those who can teach, play games, share love, or just smile. (Just one Sunday per month) Team Leader: Kim Wiley

Media/Communications Team
People gotta know! Everyone has to know what God is doing in and through the Frontporch and how they can participate. Our team works to provide our weekly bulletin & e-mail, our monthly activity calendar, the directory, Power Point, website, and all promotional materials. If you are talented in these areas or just have a big mouth, let us know! Team Leaders: Kelly Burby

Prayer Team
Prayer is the power of the Frontporch, its lifeblood. Failure to relentlessly pursue the face and heart of God individually and corporately would be foolish. So we desire to cultivate a lifestyle in step with and in communication with the Spirit of God. Everyone at the Frontporch is a member of the Prayer team, but let us know if you desire to engage the ministry of prayer in special ways. Team Leader: Jonathan Wiley

Social & Service Outreach Teams
The Social & Service Outreach teams plan monthly events to provide non-threatening points of entry to our community and to connect members of the Frontporch family with each other.
Do you enjoy organizing exciting and fun events that seek to engage and connect people? Then we need you! Canoeing, bonfires, hayrides, bowling, all-nighters, etc. The sky’s the limit!

We also provide regular opportunities to get off the Porch to share the love and forgiveness of Jesus with the world around us. The greatest blessing is for those who serve: Ronald McDonald House, Better Way Ministry, Project Angel Tree, Grace’s Neighborhood Bible Club & Eggstravaganza, Habitat for Humanity, etc. Join us! Sports Outreach Team
So you never realized your childhood dream of being an Olympic athlete or hitting a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th in game 7 of the World Series? Now you can use your love for athletics to share the love of Christ with others. What better way to connect with new friends who may not feel comfortable coming to “church,” at least at first! We seasonally offer softball, flag-football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, and 5K’s to ½ marathons. We are limited only by the boundaries of your imagination! Team Leader: Jonathan Wiley

Worship Team
We love to fill the Frontporch with songs of praise, yet we recognize that worship extends far beyond the instruments we play and the voices we raise. Worship demands dying to self 24/7 through the surrender of heart, will, and strength to the service of the risen King. Skilled musicians, artists, and technicians are needed to serve as lead worshipers, not as performers. Team Leader: Dan Hermiz
